A basic guide to using Tompee Homes
Registering
Creating an account couldn’t be simpler, click Register and follow on screen instructions and fill in the required details.
Your account will be ready to use immediately. If you have an account from Tompee.com you will be able to use that on Tompee Homes.
Your Account (Accessed by logging in)
- List a Property:
- Here you can list a property for sale or to rent.
- Buying:
- Review and cancel offers you have made, update declined offers and view accepted offers
- Selling:
- Edit and remove items or properties you are selling, view offers made and items sold
- Recent Messages, Offers & Invoices:
- These 3 sections give you a list of messages, offers and invoices that you have receieved in either the past 7 days or since you last logged in, whichever is the longest time
- Messages:
- From here you can send and receive messages to/from any user. To send a message you will need to enter a username in the ‘to’ field.
- Details:
- Manage your Tompee account information.
- Invoices:
- Manage your Tompee fees when occur.
Search for a property
- Location:
- Restrict search results to a street, town or postcode.
- Distance (miles):
- Search within the radius (miles) of your searched location.
Advanced Search Options
- Listing type: (optional)
- Restrict search results to properties for sale or to rent.
- Minimum / Maximum price: (optional)
- Restrict search results to properties within a price range, defined by the minimum and maximum price fields.
- Property type: (optional)
- Restrict search results to bungalow, flat, house, land or other.
- Bedrooms: (optional)
- Restrict search to the number of bedrooms in a property.
- Reception rooms: (optional)
- Restrict search to the number of reception rooms in a property.
- Bathrooms: (optional)
- Restrict search to the number of bathrooms in a property.
- Parking: (optional)
- Search for properties with or without car parking.
- Garden: (optional)
- Search for properties with or without a garden / outdoor space.
- Sort by: (optional)
- Sort search results Date Listed, Distance from Location or by Price, in ascending and descending order.
- View properties listed: (optional)
- Restrict searches to properties listed within days, weeks, months or years.
Listing a Property
When logged in either; hover your cursor over ‘your account’ and click ‘List a Property’ from the dropdown menu or click ‘your account’ and click ‘Add a property’. Then follow the onscreen instructions. Currently we allow up to ten images per listing. For details on listing fees see the fees section below.
All properties listed we will send you a for sale or to rent sign to erect outside your property
Options to edit or delete a property are available from your ‘Selling Overview’ page. This can be found by hovering your mouse cursor over ‘your account’ and click ‘Selling Overview’.
